We Need Volunteers Today

This entire nonprofit program is run by volunteers

Please spread the word throughout the DFW area of Texas for more volunteers, so this program can grow and be available to all underprivileged children.  Famous African Proverb, "It takes a village to raise a child." Our volunteers range from Middle and High School Students, College Students, Mentors, Community Volunteers, Retired Teachers, Active/Retired Professionals, Stay Home Moms/Dads, Grandparents,  etc. 

Online Volunteer Training, Criminal Background Check, and  Liability Disclaimer Form
Before you can work as an online tutor, please click on the link below to complete your criminal background check ($14 cost) with Sterling Volunteers for the Homework Hotline Program. This requirement applies to all volunteers 18 years old or older:
After each volunteer completes the one-page online registration form and signs the ELPS Foundation liability disclaimer form, so we can properly match you up with a student. (Note - this information will be emailed to everyone 18 years old or older after you pass the criminal background check.)  You will be enrolled in the next available online tutoring training class based on your availability. 
All volunteers that are under 18 years old with a valid student ID in the DFW area will have his/her parent/guardian fill out the online registration form on this website.  Please click on the tab that allows you to "Register your Child."  Note, you will need to provide a photo/image of your child's active student ID/Badge of a local DFW area school for this program guidelines. A Homework Hotline contact will reach out to you for confirmation of your child's subject interests for tutoring, etc.  We will address any questions and/or concerns, if applicable.
